Adding New Circuit
Here is a list of required circuits and typical circuits in a house:

Kitchen: Two 20A circuits for countertop appliances, one 20A circuit each for dishwasher, garbage disposal, refrigerator, and lighting, and one 15/20A circuit for microwave. 50A/240V circuit for electric range/stove, 40A/240V circuit for electric oven.

Bathrooms: 20A circuits for outlets and vent fans with heaters, 15/20A circuit for lighting, 20A circuit for most bidets, and 15/20A circuit recommended for warm floor.

Living Room: One or two 15/20A circuits serving dining room and hallway outlets.

Bedrooms: At least one 15/20A circuit for lighting and outlets.

Garage: 50A/240V circuit for EV chargers, one 20A circuit for garage and outdoor area receptacles, and another 20A circuit for specific equipment such as garage door openers, refrigerators, or freezers.

Basement: At least one 15/20A circuit for lighting and outlets. Additional circuits may be required if the basement is finished.

Heating and Air Conditioning (AC) system: 20-40A/240V circuit for heater or Mini Split System. The circuit size depends on the heating system’s size.

Electric water heater: Dedicated 30A/240V circuit.

Laundry Room: 20A circuit for washing machine and 30A/240V circuit for electric dryer.
